Technology Committee

The Technology Committee was formed coming out of the COVID-19 Pandemic as meetings began to return from Remote to In Person or a combination of the two called “Hybrid”. It was now necessary to incorporate cameras, projectors, screens, TVs, microphones and speakers along with the laptops. Internet and wireless connections were necessary in venues which hadn’t needed them previously. Websites became places where 7th Tradition contributions could be made, and events announced. Audiences grew past local boundaries of Districts and Areas. AAs can attend meetings around the world today with a little planning and investment by our Trusted Servants.

Meeting Guide Entity Dashboard
A.A. entities currently participating in Meeting Guide are now able to access the Meeting Guide Entity Dashboard.

The dashboard provides self-service access to the back end of Meeting Guide, enabling participating entities to review their current connection status and run reports specific to their Meeting Guide connection.

To request access to the dashboard send an email to [email protected]. Please include the website associated with your Meeting Guide connection and your name and email address when making a request.

We’d like to express our thanks to those entities who provided feedback by participating in a beta test of the dashboard prior to this release.

Up Next
We are actively working on a map view for in-person meetings in the app. Look for that and other improvements that support finding meetings in upcoming releases.
